I chose Charles Darwin for my “phake tweet”, and i thought the handle ” Thefinchmaster” was kinda funny but also relevant because of his work with the Galapagos finches. My tweet was ” A man’s twitter followers are one of the best measures of his popularity” this is based off of a quote of Darwin’s that says ” A man’s friendships are one of the best measures of his worth”. In today’s world the number of twitter followers people have does seem to hold a substantial amount of weight. Darwin wasn’t that popular during his time because he went against the idea of intelligent design. Perhaps if Darwin had a twitter and enough followers people would have listened to him.
